The Human and Social Sciences (SHS) play a key role in understanding the major societal transformations, whether economic, cultural or technological.
Through CY Transfer, CY Cergy Paris University affirms its will to promote the Valuation HSS in developing specific initiatives to create projects with high socio-economic impact.

Development
In its strategy, the PUI CY Transfer has a special interest in the Human and Social Sciences: it is on its territory the operator of their socio-economic development.
CY Transfer pursues a proactive valuation policy and its strategy is based on the development of strong partnerships, building on the potential of laboratories and anchoring the innovations they offer in areas of high visibility with key external actors.
At CY Cergy Paris University (CYU), CY Transfer's mission is to support valorisation and transfer knowledge, expertise and research results from socio-economic partners. It is the cross-cutting tool to strengthen the third mission of the university, which, with the help of academic and institutional actors, participates in innovation.
Territorial anchoring
CY Transfer links SHS researchers to the concrete needs of local actors.
Work on societal issues – whether social innovation, education, urban dynamics or digital transformation – is echoed in partnerships with communities, businesses and associations. The mission of the SHS is to ensure that the knowledge and expertise produced within the university is fully exploited to meet contemporary challenges.

Incubation & Entrepreneurship
In addition to the awareness-raising, from the creation of an incubator in the new Annie Ernaux Research House for start-ups from the HSS, CY Transfer identifies projects with high potential in order to direct them towards the Valuation adapted. Support for entrepreneurship, notably through the creation of an incubator for start-ups from SHS, is another essential dimension of CY Transfer's action.
Incubator of the Maison de la recherche Annie Ernaux offers project promoters an environment conducive to the development of innovative solutions responding to emerging social and cultural needs.
Projects incubated in this space benefit from personalized support to turn ideas from laboratories into concrete, economically viable and socially relevant initiatives.

CY Transfer is committed to strengthening the role of SHS in the innovation ecosystem through its labelling as an Innovation University Centre (PUI).
The aim is to position the Human and Social Sciences as a transformative lever for businesses and institutions, offering analytical tools and solutions tailored to their needs. Whether to rethink models The SHS provides valuable expertise to anticipate future trends.
CY Transfer therefore has a dual mission: to enhance academic research and to bring about the emergence of a new generation of social and cultural entrepreneurs who, thanks to the social and human sciences, will help shape the policies and practices of the future.

The Declaration of innovation in Human and Social Sciences (SHS)
The SHS innovation declaration is the first stage of process Valuation, It enables the existence of the project to be established, the collaborations between researchers and the support of CY Transfer.
For a socio-economic development project
The socio-economic value of research is the process of transfer to actors such as associations, communities, companies, ... innovative research work and results so that they can seize them to facilitate their activity or to offer new products and/or services. The innovation conceptualised by the research team is thus put into practice or proposed by these actors to their ecosystem (users, users, clients...).
Non-concerned projects
This statement concerns innovations for which you have considered draft Valuation socio-economic. As such, projects under the dissemination action are not concerned:
- Organization of conferences and symposia
- Publication and dissemination of science
- Conducting field surveys or study missions unless the solution is tested (with impact measurement)
- Scientific or cultural events
- The creation of research promotion materials (website, communication tools, etc.).
