Ideation , ante-prematuration (TRL 0.1 or SRL 0.1)

On subjects with high potential for valorisation but positioned very upstream of the prematurisation programmes, it is necessary, if a potential for entrepreneurship is identified, to engage in support as soon as possible to secure future technological and economic developments.

Research here translates into applied research : study of the basic properties of a technology, around a speculative concept, to consider applications.

The StartInnov programme responds to this need by supporting upstream development studies, receiving either a discharge of some of your teachings (depending on the specific needs of each component) or triggering the payment of additional hours or a RIPEC C2 premium.

From the idea to the laboratory demonstration through a PoC (concept proof) and the deposit of a protection (Patent, Software Deposit, etc.).

Within a research structure, the project leader develops his ideas to move from the hypothesis stage to a system that demonstrates the technological breakup. Thanks to the equipment of the supporting laboratory and the technology platforms of the PUI partners, the project results in a prototype which must be demonstrated in the environment representative of the application concerned.

Maturation

From laboratory demonstration to marketing, to the development of an industrial prototype.

Within a research structure, the project leader transforms his prototype into a product or service ready to be marketed. Thanks to the advanced equipment of the supporting laboratory and the technological platforms of the PUI partners, the project is moving towards a mature solution, tested and validated in a real environment. This stage also includes the search for industrial partnerships and the preparation of market launch, thus ensuring the economic viability and societal impact of the project.

Transfer and entrepreneurship

From innovation to entrepreneurship, support for innovative projects in their technological transfer and entrepreneurship phase.

Within the innovation ecosystem, project promoters receive personalized support to turn their ideas into viable start-ups. Thanks to a network of industrial, academic and institutional partners, as well as cutting-edge technology platforms, projects are driven to the market. The PUI CY Transfer implements coordinated actions to structure the supply of skills, strengthen partnerships and accelerate the creation of spin-offs, thus contributing to the competitiveness of enterprises and the economic development of the territory

    The innovation declaration is the first step in a development project and the communication medium for your research results or innovation to CY Transfer. It allows your interlocutors to understand and grasp the interest of your innovation, to understand the path that has taken you there.e, to identify the people involved in obtaining it, to understand the objectives you associate with it, to report your proposed publication concerning it. It's mostly a basis for dialogue between CY Transfer and you.

    This is the mechanism for actors such as associations, communities, businesses, ... to take advantage of innovative work and results from public research in order to facilitate their activity or to offer new products and/or services. The innovation conceptualised by the research team is thus put into practice or proposed by these actors to their ecosystem (users, users, clients...).

    Societal impact / SROI

    The return on social or societal investment (ROI – English term, social return on investment) is an analytical tool that allows the value of a project to be considered more broadly than by the financial prism, as the ROI does, considering in particular its social or societal, environmental and economic costs and benefits. It requires mapping the expected impacts of the project and their value and involving the stakeholders involved in the project.

    In its strategy, the PUI CY Transfer has a special interest in the Human and Social Sciences: it is on its territory the operator of their socio-economic development.
