Interdisciplinary prematurization: fund the first steps in valuing your research results

You got a promising search result, but it's still too early to interest a company, investor or SATT? The call for projects Interdisciplinary premation 2026 of the PUI CY Transfer can help you take a first step towards valuing your work.

With an overall envelope of 100 000 €, This call for projects is addressed to the staff of the PUI CY Transfer, including Université Sorbonne Paris Nord (USPN), founding member of the consortium.

Does your research project have a potential for valorisation?

Prematuration enables a further exploratory scientific result to be advanced towards practical application. It aims to finance the first steps necessary to assess its potential and prepare for its further development.

Do you have a research result that could meet a societal, medical, industrial or environmental need, but that still requires further work before considering a transfer to the socio-economic world?

Your project may include:

• a proof of concept;
• initial tests or additional experiments;
• validation of the feasibility of an application;
• a first market study to identify potential uses and opportunities.

The objective is to give your project the means to take a course and prepare the conditions for its future development.

Interdisciplinarity at the heart of the call for projects

For this edition 2026, special attention will be paid to projects that combine skills from different disciplines. The cross-section of scientific approaches can lead to the emergence of new avenues of application and the enhancement of the potential for valuing results.

Two thematic axes are priority, in line with France 2030's national acceleration strategies:

• Health of the future
• Sustainable materials and processes

However, these priorities are not exclusive. If your project has a strong value potential and is based on an interdisciplinary approach, it can be proposed even if it falls within another scientific field.

Funding and support to advance your project

Projects selected will be eligible for up to 50 000 € for a period of 6 to 18 months.

Beyond the financial support, the winners will benefit from the support of the PUI CY Transfer throughout their project, in order to help them progress in their valuation process and prepare for the next steps.

Who can apply? The staff of the establishments members of the PUI CY Transfer.

What funding? Up to 50,000 € for a period of 6 to 18 months.

What deadline? 15 December 2026.
