The COMBIO consortium supports innovative academic projects in the field of biotherapy and bioproduction, with the aim of accelerating their maturation and their transfer to clinical or industrial applications.
The projects expected must be based on solid preliminary results and submit a potential for recovery (startup, industrial partnership, technology transfer).
Objectives of the scheme
- Strengthening the national sovereignty in bioproduction
- Accelerating the development of Innovative biomedicines
- Support projects in Prematuration and maturation
- Promote creation of startups and industrial partnerships
Eligible projects
Projects must:
- Pressing scientific results already established
- Present a potential for recovery (clinical, industrial or economic)
- Registration in the field biotherapy or bioproduction technologies
Submission modalities
The filing process takes place in two stages:
- Letter of intent + budget : Before Monday, 20 April → Quick check of eligibility
- Full folder : Before Monday, 27 April

An administrative and legal eligibility study will be carried out internally before the dossier is sent to the COMBIO coordinator
