The Enghien-les-Bains Arts Centre hosts an exceptional creation: Pop-art, an immersive work that explores the boundaries between musical performance, holography and stage innovation.
Designed by composer and flautist Joce Mienniel in collaboration with the Arts Centre, this project brings together on stage a constellation of major artists from the French scene: Arthur H, Dominique A, Emily Loizeau, Malik Djoudi, Laura Cahen, Fredrika Stahl, Macha Gharibian and Barbara Carlotti. All appear in the form of holograms, accompanied live by a wind quintet.
An artistic experience at the crossroads of disciplines
Pop-art is a resolutely innovative proposal, where music, image and interlacing technology create an unprecedented stage experience. The show explores the encounter between artistic creation and advanced digital devices, in a form that deliberately blurs the markers between real and virtual presence.
This work is fully part of a research and experimentation approach, at the crossroads of living art and technological innovation, offering the public an immersive and spectacular experience.
A technological feat at the service of creation
At the heart of the project, the Centre des arts d'Enghien-les-Bains deploys state-of-the-art engineering:
- a holographic screen of the latest generation
- the technique of the Peppers Ghost reinvented using contemporary technologies
- the possibility of making several artists coexist on stage in perfect illusion
- an entirely invisible device for the public, creating a total immersion between real and virtual
This ambitious scenography took several months of design and development, as well as close collaboration between artists, technicians and production teams of the Arts Centre.
An experience to discover on stage
Pop-art offers a unique sensory journey, where the scene becomes a meeting place between artistic disciplines and technological innovations. A work that questions as much as she marvels, and redefines the contours of the live concert.
