The CNRS launches call for PISE 2026 events

28 November 2025 11:00 12:00

PISE (Social and/or Environmental Impact Projects) CNRS opens its new edition for the year 2026. This scheme is intended for all research personnel attached to a research unit under the supervision of the CNRS.

A programme dedicated to responsible innovation

PISE supports the development and exploitation of innovation projects with strong societal or environmental impacts, apart from traditional market logics. The programme hosts projects with a wide range of maturity levels, with a Science Readiness Level (SRL) between 1 and 6.

Candidate projects will have to present an original approach to the societal or environmental issue addressed, detailing the needs identified, the expected impacts, the vision of the implementation plan and the deployment of innovation and stakeholder involvement.

The theme chosen for this edition 2026 is the interconnection between public health, biodiversity and the environmental crisis, as promoted by the concept of « #OneHealth ».

Application procedure

Interested project promoters can download the scoping letter and application file from the dedicated site: https://www.cnrsinnovation.com/pise/

During the submission period, candidates will have the opportunity to rework and refine their project for the screening committee, with the support of the teams of the CNRS and CNRS Innovation.

For any questions, the PISE team remains available at: pise@cnrsinnovation.fr
