The programme « Industrial Chairs » its aim is to mobilize means to consolidate and strengthen the competitiveness of French companies and pursues a triple objective:
• To enable teachers-researchers/teachers-researchers or French or foreign researchers, of international recognition and possibly mobility, to work on an ambitious, innovative and industrially indisputable research programme.
• Build and structure collaborative scientific research actions in priority and strategic areas for public and private actors involved in the Industrial Chair through a strong and sustainable partnership.
• Provide quality research training at the highest international level by adding to the reception of PhD students or post-doctoral fellows in academic research laboratories, long-term vision, methodologies and experience of economic actors.
This programme is characterised by a call for projects open to all research themes, on topics jointly defined by the host institution 41 of the Industrial Chair and one or more partner company(s). The project is supported by an eminent scientist, future holder of the Industrial Chair, and is funded equally between the ANR and the partner company(s).
