In the fall of 2026, PUI CY Transfer launch BEE, a new character designed to accompany, explain and make more accessible topics related to innovation, technology transfer and the exploitation of research.
Because the mechanisms, transfer mechanisms or opportunities for collaboration between research and the socio-economic world may sometimes seem complex, BEE was designed as a benchmark for better understanding and guidance.
BEE, a character to explain and create a link
BEE is a new incarnation of the PUI CY Transfer, thought as a tool of mediation for the whole ecosystem.
Researchers, companies, startups, students, institutional players or innovation partners: everyone may have to ask questions about transfer, the valorisation of innovation, support mechanisms or opportunities for collaboration.
BEE's mission: to make these topics more readable, more concrete and more accessible.
Through its various content, BEE can in particular:
- Vulgarize technical or sometimes complex concepts;
- Orient to the right devices, tools and resources;
- Publicizing opportunities for collaboration between research and the socio-economic world;
- Explain the actions and arrangements proposed by the PUI CY Transfer ;
- Accompany in the discovery of the innovation ecosystem.
BEE thus becomes an identifiable and pedagogical figure, intended to facilitate entry into subjects that may sometimes seem to be reserved for initiates.

Educational video clips
Through short videos, BEE will decipher the major topics related to innovation, technology transfer and the exploitation of research.
Objective: give the key to essential understanding, without unnecessary jargon, and allow everyone to better identify the opportunities that can be offered to him.
To inaugurate this new adventure, BEE to speak for the first time on video September 8, 2026. This first capsule will be broadcast on the YouTube channel CY Transfer and will launch a series of short and educational content on innovation, transfer and exploitation of research.

A chatbot to facilitate orientation
An BEE chatbot is also being finalized. It will be designed to facilitate access to information and to help different audiences identify mechanisms, resources or interlocutors that can meet their needs.

With Bee Smart, PUI CY Transfer will also propose a more playful and interactive approach to raising awareness of innovation and transfer issues.

This new dynamic will also complement The Tech Gateway, the LinkedIn newsletter of PUI CY Transfer on innovation and transfer issues.
The two approaches are complementary:
- BEE facilitates entry into subjects, offering short, educational and accessible content.
- The Tech Gateway allows to go further, with content that allows to deepen the challenges, devices, initiatives and news of the ecosystem.
