Last week the inauguration of SmartGaitLab, the first joint laboratory of the ETIS laboratory, and also the first LabCom of the PUI CY Transfer, conducted in partnership with Bluelinea.
This LabCom in digital health is dedicated to detecting postural fragility and improving prevention, through the development of innovative technologies of unconventional radar imaging and knowledge models.
From more than five years of collaboration between ETIS and Bluelinea, SmartGaitLab will now test developed devices (radars and algorithms) in real environments: rehabilitation services, EHPAD and other medical facilities.
In particular, a collaboration was initiated with the Teneris group to conduct the first tests at the EHPAD Le Château in Neuville-sur-Oise.
The evening was marked by institutional interventions by:
- David Guyard, Chairman of the Bluelinea Executive Board
- Olivier Romain, Director of the LabCom SmartGaitLab and Vice President Innovation & Transfer of CY Cergy Paris University
- Vincent MERVAL, Director General of the National School of Electronics and its Applications
- Iryna Andrianova, Vice President Research, CY Cergy Paris University
- Nistor Grozavu, Director of ETIS Laboratory
The research and development axes of the LabCom were presented, highlighting the involvement of the entire team, in particular doctors and doctoral students involved in the project.
Demonstrations in Radar Stabilimetry and Automation of the TUG Test, facilitated by Petr Dobias (MCF) CYUThe potential of this work was illustrated in concrete terms.
A big thank you to all those present, as well as to the partners and teams mobilized to make SmartGaitLab a project serving health innovation and prevention.
