Our participation in the round table Jobs – Training – Skills
Laurent Gatineau, President of CY Cergy Paris University and Vice-President of the Training Council of France Universities in charge of vocational training, spoke at 4.15 p.m. at the Employment-Training-Competence Round Table, focusing on both the opportunities of scientific research and the fundamental role of the university in supporting all transitions by training in the skills of tomorrow.
New hydrogen trades and skills
The university is a key player in training new skills to meet the challenges of the hydrogen sector. By developing specialized training programmes and collaborating with economic partners, it prepares students for new jobs related to the production, storage and use of this energy. The university thus contributes to the emergence of qualified expertise, which is essential to support the energy transition and innovation in hydrogen.
Research and innovation for mobility
Research and innovation play a central role in the development of future mobility, addressing environmental, economic and social issues. They enable the design of more sustainable, connected and efficient transport solutions, thus reducing the carbon footprint and urban congestion. CY Cergy Paris University researchers work with industry to address current and future challenges, while placing sustainability and performance at the centre of priorities.
