A new quick-funding tool (industry/research/excellence) with a strong leverage effect, the FIRST system through CY Initiative (supported by CY Cergy Paris Université and ESSEC Business School) provides financial support for innovative scientific projects by university partners.

The FIRST programme covers different categories of intervention allowing you to sweep a wide range of actions to meet your innovation challenges.
- Category 1 : You benefit from a think-tank, with the support of a club of economic partners, facilitating access to experts, acculturation of technologies, the solution test... on the perimeter of the POI CY Transfer.
- Category 2 : You are developing an R&D program with a student (engineer, doctoral or post-doctoral).
- Category 3 : You create a partnership chair (studies, development of tools, training, preparation and production of white papers, extension articles and their dissemination to target audiences).
- Category 4: You benefit from the services of CY Transfer to speed up your startup.
The FIRST enables doctoral, post-doctoral or engineering students to be funded through:
- A wide scheme, with industrial chairs (several projects)
- A smaller system with research projects
The FIRST allows you to:
- Boost your innovation by working with CY Initiative members and partners,
- collaborate closely with research laboratories,
- benefit, research tax credit or cooperative credit, in addition to the co-financing of CY Initiative,
- recruiting R&D personnel at an attractive price,
- benefit from the infrastructure and support services of CY Cergy Paris University.
