In the framework of the development of partnerships which are at the heart of the actions carried out by its POI (Universal Innovation Centre), CY Transfer led this project of creation of Chaire d'Innovation Partenariale bringing companies closer to the territory and laboratories of CY Cergy Paris University.
The Research and Development Program of this Innovation Chair « Water » its main objective is to contribute to the challenges of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- SDG 6: Access to safe water and sanitation)
- SDG 12: Responsible consumption
- and SDG 14: Protection of aquatic fauna and flora
She federates on CEREMA and the academic actors of the POI CY Transfer (Workshops CYU, laboratoriesUSPN) to accompany companies.
It is coordinated by Patrick Di Martino of the ERRMECe laboratory.
This Innovation Chair on « Water » Address the problem of intelligent multimodal treatment and water management through the first two complementary research axes. They will help advance on issues related to closed-circuit grey water use applications and desalination for developing countries.
In France, in the continuity of the « Water Plan »a decree was issued in January 2024 for « Optimize water resources » through water use.
In the first place, the Chair focuses on two research and development areas:
- Water treatment
- AIA for optimized water treatment configuration
This Chair establishes and formalizes a new industrial partnership on societal issues related to the transition. The intention is to have an impact on the different objects of transitions for and with socio-economic partners.
