CY Transfer hosted Tuesday, November 7, 2023 on the site of Neuville de CY Cergy Paris University the 2nd Sci-Ty Pre-Mat Committee Ile-de-France and Hors Ile-de-France (Innovation for cities, intelligent buildings and mobilitys of tomorrow).

Olivier Romain, Vice-President Innovation and Transfer of CY Cergy Paris University is one of the jury members of this committee, among some 20 other members including:

  • Frédéric Bourquin, Deputy President of Innovation, Gustave Eiffel University,
  • Emmanuel Girard, Deputy Director of Research, École des Ponts ParisTech,
  • Demosthenes Kalogérakis, portfolio manager of SATT Erganeo and
  • David Chupin, director of Sci-Ty among others.

This Sci-ty prematurization program, Deeptech for Tomorrow's Cities and Mobilitys, aims to support innovation projects to promote their transfer to the socio-economic world by creating a community of experts and innovators at the national and territorial levels (experts, scientists, communities and inhabitants, socio-economic actors). It was a rich and busy day with 12 auditions. Each project leader had 20 minutes (including 10 minutes of pitch and 10 minutes of exchange with committee members). The next 10 minutes were devoted to the jury for deliberation on a funding of EUR 50,000.

As a bonus for the end of the day, a visit to 3 laboratories CY Cergy Paris University:

  • engineering engineering laboratory and materials, L2MGC
  • physicochemistry laboratory of polymers and interfaces, LPPI
  • Geosciences and Environment Laboratory Cergy, GEC.

It was a real opportunity to present the research activities of these laboratories in connection with this programme and to show some progress of projects already funded or being accompanied.

The Sci-Ty project is co-led by Gustave Eiffel University and the SATT Erganeo, winner of the pre-maturation-maturation project call of France 2030.

The meeting app between researchers and innovators !

With Konekti, you have an application (web and mobile) for matching, which allows you to connect the laboratory staff of PII establishments (researchers, engineers, etc.) with the industrialists.

The objective: a simpler and faster contact between the academic world and companies.
