Creation of a new CIREX Chair and a BOT educational system research programme for excellence research at the heart of digital literacy in health and respecting user rights. Co-funded by CY Initiative and the Léonie Chaptal Foundation, the Chair aims to innovate and improve access to health and care.
CY Cergy Paris University and Fondation Léonie Chaptal combine their expertise
The Léonie Chaptal Foundation, a centenary institution named after the visionary architect of the nursing profession, and CY Cergy Paris University, combine their expertise to innovate and serve the long-term improvement of patient care and health, as part of the social and digital transition in health.
CIREX Chair provides financial support for innovative scientific projectsthrough the CY Initiative, at a time when the digital transition to health impacts the rights, uses, capacities of patients and their caregivers, as well as the learnings of students and future health professionals.
The Direction of the Chair « journey and digital health » is entrusted to Hajer Baazaoui, teacher-researcher at the ETIS laboratory (Equipes Information Processing System – CYU – CNRS-ENSEA).
A Chair in Shared Objectives in the National and International Health Science Community
The current digital transition in health questions the ability of the technology and health sectors to combine sustainably to develop research of excellence and an educational, technological, ethical and effective partnership system.
Since 2018The Léonie Chaptal Foundation, a partner of CY, brings together international scientific experts in the various disciplines of health and innovation. This prospect of developing innovative thinking and action programmes is called "Digital Health Literacy". It focuses on a global issue of access to prevention and care rights.
The CHAPTAL Chair-CYU The aim is to develop and promote innovative research on 3 areas of excellence :
- research into the inclusion of BOT system and AI (Artificial Intelligence) associated with learning, support for care and prevention intervention, support and guidance of patients and caregivers,
- research into new IOT (Internet of Things) devices for telemedicine and home care (telemonitoring, tele-expertise, tele-assistance) to question the quality and performance of data collection systems, with a view to improving follow-up, the provision of information, care and the improvement of home autonomy,
- research in the design and development of new expertise and curricula of excellence, in the e-health sector with the aim of accompanying and supporting the emergence of new professions, new organisations.
An ongoing operational research program: BOT Health Education Assistant
The research programme « BOT health education system » aims to develop, in accordance with the scientific and regulatory issues of the doctrine of digital health, a BOT system – automatic software agent – with artificial intelligence in deep learning to customize information to users.
This research is part of the complexity and non-accessibility objective. documents and communications from the health sector (lexical complexity, lack of time for therapeutic education, diversity of actors and devices for care and prevention), technological performance and development of AI. The approach is based on an educational perspective of personalized pathways and interfaces, adapted to the constraints and handicaps of patients and their caregivers, to ensure the free and informed consent of the acts and treatments offered to them as part of their journey (in accordance with the 2002 Act). It is also intended to improve the reception, information, guidance and continuous support capabilities in response to the ESSMS quality benchmark defined by the French High Health Authority.
CIREX, a privileged access to the expertise of CY researchers: from project to implementation
CIREX is a mechanism developed by CY for its researchers to co-finance projects (CIREX project) or programmes (CIREX Chair). It contributes to the development of partnership research in relation to the socio-economic world and to the potential for transfer and exploitation.
The financial support granted is 4 years. CY Initiative contributes 30% of the cost of the staff recruited, and the company supports the remaining 70%, as well as a minimum of 15K abundance€ per year for operation. This financial support is granted for the duration of the CIREX project, or 4 years for the CIREX Chairs.
The CIREX system provides access to the resources of CY Cergy Paris University, the 5 state-of-the-art equipment parks (CY Genius Platforms), 25 research laboratories (in the fields of experimental sciences, humanities and social sciences, as well as modelling sciences), 36 active patent families, and more than 1200 teachers-researchers.
CY Transfera dedicated team to support the development and transfer of knowledge
CY Transfer is the new Business Unit of CY Cergy Paris University. Its role is to support the development and transfer of knowledge with various industrial, state and academic partners, in order to develop initiatives and projects to share knowledge with society and the business community within the scientific community.
The team connects CY's laboratories and technology platforms with different actors who require specific services, equipment and personnel, in the fields of safety, cosmetics, the environment, materials, chemistry and biochemistry, agri-food, automotive, aerospace and aerospace, or in the medical field.
