The startup Augmented Endoscopy, a company that emerged from the ETIS laboratory among other things, is highlighted in the media.
Increased Endoscopy offers a new artificial intelligence solution for the reliable, non-invasive and ultra-fast diagnosis of digestive tract lesions. Born of a rapprochement between a gastroenterologist from the Hôpital Saint-Antoine (Sorbonne Université/AP-HP) and ETIS laboratory researchers (ENSEA/CY Cergy Paris Université/CNRS), the startup Augmented Endoscopy accelerates the reading of images generated by endoscopic videocapsules thanks to artificial intelligence.
The team developed a SaaS platform software called AXARO.AI, to meet this challenge. This artificial intelligence solution performs online automated playback of images of endoscopic videocapsules. In less than five minutes, the software detects and characterizes anomalies, indicates whether the examination is complete and whether the quality of the intestinal preparation is satisfactory.
